HUD announces national funding awards

Homeward and its supported entities were among the recently announced HUD national funding awards, being awarded the full amount of the Housing and Urban Development application requests from Polk County. These funds will continue to sustain the much needed services delivered by our partners to ensure homelessness is a rare, brief, and time-limited experience.

Iowa is comprised of four HUD Continuum of Care regions, with Homeward covering Polk County. Other regions cover Woodbury County and Pottawatamie County. The remaining 96 counties are the largest singular region in the state and is managed by the Balance of State.
